Venom and Riot fight at the Golden Gate Bridge

This is an illustration-based alternate movie poster for the new Marvel movie, Venom.

In this artwork, I've tried to capture a mid-fight shot of Venom and Riot falling down over the Golden Gate Bridge as they try to rip out each other's alien half. Venom is the story of an anti-hero and the lethal protector in San Francisco, whose alter ego is Eddie Brock, a journalist who claims that Spider-Man ruined his life.

Like Eddie Brock's existential crisis, an alien symbiote also barely survives looking for a worthy host, including Spider-Man, until it fuses with Eddie to become Venom. Now, Venom becomes a target, "spawning" the creation of five other alien symbiote fusions; one of them being 'Riot'. So, in the final "father-son" alien fight between Venom and Riot that they are indeed...Venom.
